People Photography
Young, old, small, big, adorable, cheeky, beautiful, distinctive, moving. Name a characteristic and there’s a person
who personifies it. This is what makes people an inexhaustible source of inspiration for photographers. But how do
you capture them in a way that best reflects their appearance and personality
Photographing people either as a portrait or editorially for travel magazines or slide libraries is not only very personal but also takes great skill not only making the subject feel comfortable but making the shot look completely natural. Photographing people in their own environment is often best but sometimes language or religious create barriers which need to be overcome.
We have travelled extensively and worked in some remote locations which need diplomacy and a friendly approach to achieve the clients objectives, especially so in travel photography. We have worked for individual tour companies and magazines who require a professional but non intrusive approach. Some recent work includes trips to Morocco and Egypt to shoot people and places for International Graphics. Various slide libaries including Corbis.
We feel that we are great at photographing people and it is our positive approach and experience which encourage advertisng agencies, tour operators, slide libraries, private schools and councils use us time and time again for a fast, creative and organised service.
